Minimap

The minimap is a condensed, bird's-eye view of the whole document shown beside the scrollbar, so you can see the file's structure at a glance and move around quickly.

Using it

• A highlighted band shows the portion of the file currently visible in the editor.
• Click or drag on the minimap to scroll to that part of the document.
• Hovering over the minimap shows a preview of the lines under the pointer, so you can peek at a location before jumping to it.
